New Roundtable Discussion: Is Upright Radiotherapy Medically & Financially Better?

On Thursday, 3rd December, Leo Cancer Care held a virtual roundtable discussion on the topic, ‘Is Upright Radiotherapy Medically and Financially Better?’, following the interest in their white paper of the same title.

The discussion started with introductions of the participants from the Leo Cancer Care team and their invited panellists from their Scientific Advisory Board. The panellists invited to participate in the discussion were Jay Flanz, Jim Welsh, Laurence Court and Mark Pankuch.

The Leo team gave a summary of the highlights from the white paper which included details on immobilization in the upright orientation, as well as the medical and financial benefits of treating patients with radiotherapy in the upright position.
