Join Us at AAPM 2025 in Washington D.C.
This July, the Leo Cancer Care team is heading to D.C for AAPM 2025 — and we’re bringing upright radiotherapy to the forefront of the conversation.
Our mission has always been simple: to be the more human way to deliver radiation therapy. With our innovative upright technology, we’re reimagining the entire radiotherapy journey — from simulation to treatment. We believe that by reducing economic barriers and enhancing comfort, not only will we elevate the patient experience, but we will also improve access to radiotherapy.
Want to see what the future of radiation therapy looks like? Visit us at booth 2022 to explore our latest research, innovations, and the exciting developments shaping what’s next.

Upright Photon Alliance
The Upright Photon Alliance is a global collaboration of leading academic institutions and healthcare providers—including Centre Léon Bérard, Cone Health, IHH Healthcare, Mayo Clinic, and OncoRay—united by a shared commitment to improving outcomes for cancer patients.
Formed in October 2024, the Alliance is focused on advancing research into Leo Cancer Care’s future photon therapy product, which challenges the conventions of traditional radiotherapy through upright patient positioning.
2025 marks a milestone year with the Alliance hosting its first international upright radiotherapy workshop and initiating installation of research systems, scheduled for Q3 and Q4 at key member sites.
Scientific Evidence
At Leo Cancer Care, we are committed to challenging the norms of radiation therapy to enhance the patient experience and quality of care. Our innovative solutions are driven by a growing body of research that highlights the potential benefits of upright patient positioning.
Studies indicate that treating patients in an upright position may reduce internal motion and offer anatomical advantages, paving the way for more precise and comfortable treatments. This compelling evidence has inspired the development of our technologies.
As global interest in upright radiotherapy continues to grow, research into potential benefits is gaining momentum. Visit us at Booth 2022 to hear the latest updates and explore how upright radiotherapy is shaping the future of cancer care.
