Marie® by Leo Cancer Care Makes History at Stanford Medicine — World First in Compact Upright Proton Therapy
We’re excited to be exhibiting at PTCOG 64 in Deauville, France this June.
Following a busy and announcement-filled ESTRO, we’re looking forward to continuing the conversation around upright radiotherapy and how it will transform particle therapy.
By enabling treatment in an upright position, clinics can reduce reliance on large rotating gantries and purpose-built facilities, lowering infrastructure barriers and helping make particle therapy more accessible worldwide. Just as importantly, upright treatment offers a more human approach to radiotherapy – allowing patients to be treated in their natural position.
Visit the Leo Cancer Care team at booth 13 to experience our upright technology firsthand and discuss how fixed-beam particle therapy could help shape the next generation of particle therapy.
Marie®, now CE marked, combines an upright patient positioning system with fan beam CT imaging to create a solution for upright particle therapy. Designed to integrate with any fixed particle beam, Marie supports proton therapy, carbon ion therapy, and BNCT – helping remove the need for large rotating gantries and opening new possibilities for more efficient treatment center design.
Visit us at PTCOG 64 to learn how upright treatment can simplify particle therapy delivery, reduce infrastructure requirements, and improve patient experience.
